Lion's Mane Mushrooms are known for their crab-like texture and flavour, especially when torn into small pieces and used in recipes that are often made with crab meat. They make excellent mock crab cakes and wonderful crab alfredo.

In addition, large sections of lion's mane can be made into compressed vegetarian steaks.
